What our students are saying

Gaia Gilardengo

Project Management Alumni, Italy

“The 5-week Bootcamp was tough, but I loved its hands-on approach! We didn't just cover the basics of localization project management, we actually learnt how to face real problems and to think about innovative solutions to them.”

Meropi Maria Lampropoulou

Project Management Alumni, Greece

“The most important part of this training was the simulation because it was a safe environment to explore the project management field, make your own mistakes and learn from them. I am very happy to have completed this bootcamp and having a great mentor guiding me through.”

Lucia Antico

FAQ

  • Localiza… what? Do I need any prior knowledge to complete the course?

Nope, we’ll teach you everything you need to know from scratch. All you need is a reliable internet connection, a computer… and some good coffee helps too!

  • What is the course format?

The five-week localization course is broken down into two weeks of practical training, followed by three weeks of “on the job” simulation. You will encounter structured video lessons, assignments, projects, and personalized feedback sessions. The bootcamps are all virtual, which means all course material is in digital format.

  • I’m working / studying. Will I have time for this?

Absolutely. With just the right mix of set structure and flexibility, the localization course will fit right into your schedule. You will need to invest between one and two hours per day during the training phase and two to three hours per day during the simulation phase.

  • Saturday sessions… seriously?

Unfortunately, yes. Saturday sessions allow us to complete the bootcamp within the time frame and preserve momentum. Remember, this is a bootcamp – it’s short, it’s intense and it takes real commitment to complete. The good news is that after just a few short weeks of sacrifice, you’ll have the skills and experience you need to kickstart your entire future. Buckle up – it’s worth it!

  • Do you issue certificates?

Yes. All graduates will receive a certificate to prove their successful completion of the full course. You must finish both training and simulation to be eligible. You’ll also get a recommendation on LinkedIn to boost your profile. Keep in mind, the point of this localization course is not to serve as an academic qualification but to learn and build the necessary practical experience you need for a successful career in project management.

  • What platform do you use for the course?

We use one of the most popular platforms Memsource. You’ll have a license during your participation in the course.

  • Why can’t I just watch all the course material at once?

We have carefully crafted the curriculum for maximum impact. Lessons are made available one by one so that the necessary focus can be placed on each module while keeping the live video sessions with your instructor relevant. We are investigating the possibility of shorter courses in the future, but the current structure is set for now.

  • What is this “simulation”?

There’s no better way to learn than to do. After teaching you the necessary parts for two weeks, you’ll be thrown in at the deep end and tasked with managing two end-to-end simulated projects by yourself. By putting all you’ve learned to the test, you will deal with limited budgets, tight deadlines, demanding clients, and unreliable vendors — a perfect simulation of what a real project manager does on a day-to-day basis. We’ll keep a close eye on your progress, and at the end of the simulation, we’ll give you one-on-one feedback on your performance and clear guidelines on where you nailed it and where you can improve.

  • What type of job will a localization course help me to get?

Typically, our graduates go on to find a position as junior project managers or project coordinators.
